Synopsis
In a tourist area of Rome, an attractive woman named Carmen is apprehended under suspicion of having stolen a necklace from an American.  Antonio, a young policeman, is tasked with bringing her back to the police station, but he falls for her charms and he lets her go.  Under Carmen’s spell, Antonio gives up his job as a policeman and looks for work elsewhere.  Unbeknown to Antonio, Carmen is married, to Vincenzo, who is serving a term in jail for theft and trafficking.  When he learns of this, Antonio confronts Carmen but ends up agreeing to help her and Vincenzo in their drugs smuggling operation...
